The B.Sc. Nursing curriculum provides a thorough foundation in nursing science and practice over four years. The first year covers essential subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and basic Nursing Fundamentals, ensuring students grasp the core sciences and introductory nursing concepts. The second year advances to Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, and Microbiology, focusing on the management of medical conditions, medication effects, and infection control. In the third year, the curriculum includes Pediatric Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing, offering specialized knowledge and skills for diverse patient populations. Community Health Nursing is emphasized, preparing students for roles in public health and disease prevention. The final year features extensive Clinical Practice, where students apply their skills in real healthcare settings, alongside Nursing Management and Leadership courses to prepare for administrative roles. Elective courses and a research project further enhance learning and specialization. Practical experiences, including simulations and clinical rotations, are integral throughout, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape.
